Jobs Dilemma

I hear all the time that we need to bring back manufacture companies from overseas in order to create jobs.

Yes I now, but the problem is they have to deal with too many regulations, corrupted officials, labor unions, and also blood sucking lawyers.

So how can we urge them to return?

Well, one idea is to gather all the regulators, union leaders, corrupted officials, and all the damn lawyers and throw them into an active volcano!

Yeah, but isn't that a bit too unrealistically hostile?  Is there another way?

Well, what about we lower them gently into an active volcano?

No problem, sir, this is why I elected myself to this task. It's a JV issue, I should get it fixed soon.

We are doing everything we can.  We've underestimated the problem from the start, but please be patient, I assure you that we are very close in eliminating this issue.

10 months later.

Sir, I'm afraid I don't have a complete strategy.  The details are not yet worked out.  I'm currently waiting on another team to finalize a winning strategy.

Mr. Johnson, you are fired for incompetence!

Hon, I can't believe our bad luck!  The play got canceled due to the flu!  But how come we couldn't go to a movie theater instead?  Why must we return home?

Babe, you know perfectly well that I am way too overdressed to go see just a movie.  I'll be ready in a few minutes!

Tom: Guys, I'll be back, my son's car got a flat a few blocks away and needs help.

Gary: Damn, I am concerned about this younger generation.

During my father's generation, aside from growing up during the Great Depression, he and his two older brothers proudly enlisted for WWII.  These are proud, tough, and able men.  The no-nonsense type.

And yet this younger generation that can't even defend themselves from bullies at school, can't pull their pants up, and can't even fend for themselves--like changing a flat tire--can't they figure it out by themselves?!  Doh!?

Gary's daughter: Oh hush up daddy! Recall the first time you tried to send an e-mail and asked me where to buy internet stamps--couldn't you figure it out on your own?  lol

Morning rant...

The problem with us is that we always want to be first at everything.

We are fixated to make history; when instead we should only focus on what's best for our country.

It shouldn't be about gender or race, it should be about who is best qualified to run our government.  And then make our selection based only on that.

But if we keep electing officials for the wrong reasons; we are only hurting ourselves in the long run by getting stuck with incompetent leaders.

An ideal leader should have the apt to deliberate; be able to come to a mutual agreement; has the gift of persuasion; the character to seek and destroy those that want to hurt us; and has leadership experience like a city mayor or a state governor.

It's time for us to...!

Well Jamie, I didn't fool around in school; hit the books; got the grades; got myself into a good college; studied hard and worked part-time to pay for my classes; found the trade that offered the best benefits, took the challenge, and aced it.

Wow, can anyone do it?

Of course, you just have to stay clear of the nonsense and negativity.  It all starts during Jr. High and High-School. Just focus on a better future for yourself.  It's all about making the correct choices in life.
